Increased prevalence of Dengue in Bangladesh

Climate change in Bangladesh tends to provide mosquitoes of the Aedes aegypti species with a very favorable environment for their spread and therefore to carry Dengue, due to higher temperatures with a monsoon of longer duration and consequently heavy rainfall with unusual parameters such as what happened for the month of October. Over one thousand four hundred and seventy victims with over two hundred and ninety thousand infections would be the toll of the viral disease in 2023 with hospitals struggling to treat an increasing number of patients. Dengue is very common in South Asia from June to September and causes severe bone and muscle pain. To report changing the subject but remaining on salutary issues the disastrous health situation in Gaza City and in general throughout the Gaza Strip due to a conflict that has practically lasted for decades without any solutions being sought.
