A case of intrusion that also caused damage to an IT infrastructure about two months ago carried out through the so-called communication agents supported by generative artificial intelligence, raises questions about the limits of human intelligence; in fact, according to some it is not clear how the machine acted and carried out the attack bypassing the defenses of an IT platform (basically completing a specific command in unknown ways). In theory it would therefore be possible for a group of these communication agents to effectively carry out malicious commands guided by generative artificial intelligence and take control of the entire internet network overcoming any protective barrier or firewall.
