Nepalese people are victims of climate change

The Himalayan mountain range which is the highest in the world is heating up faster than the global average temperatures even though the Nepalese population is minimally responsible for global warming; so they are victims of climate change caused by others. The needs for the areas affected by the disastrous flood are really many—everything is lacking, especially drinking water with a high risk of epidemics and are trying to quickly bury the bodies of victims recovered from the mud, putting them in mass graves after taking DNA samples for later identification. Meanwhile the death toll is said to have exceeded a thousand with four thousand five hundred missing and some claim that China provides partial data regarding victims and missing people in their territory.

Reduced traffic through the Panama Canal due to drought

The authorities managing ship traffic through the Panama Canal which connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans have reportedly decided on a gradual reduction of these traffic volumes due to the effects of the global current "El Nino" and the resulting drought with water levels dropping, having already declared a state of emergency in recent days. Drought conditions further north in El Salvador (in the Central American corridor that often suffers from extreme weather events due to its high vulnerability) have also led to alerts with various heat records being set in August causing damage, crop reductions and difficulties in managing water reserves; the situation isn't much better in nearby Honduras with eighty percent of the territory under alert according to authorities in Tegucigalpa.

Flood in the Grand Canyon in the United States

Due to a heavy downpour in Bright Angel Creek with rainwater streams flowing from the heights down to the valley there was a flood in the Grand Canyon, reports mention two victims and fifteen people missing, dozens evacuated and damage including metal structures swept away into the Colorado River and the main water pipeline serving tourists and park residents damaged, then the landscape has also been altered by debris, ruts and trails and passages that are now unusable. Rescuers are trying to contact climbers who might be in the area or at the campsites. To report shifting focus to Tibet that the death toll has risen to over nine hundred with more than four thousand two hundred people missing due to the disastrous flood, there's a shortage of drinking water and fears of potential epidemics; managing the emergency is proving to be very difficult.

Difficult search for missing people in Nepal

Rescuers face a tough task searching for missing people among mud and debris as the force of the disastrous flood in Nepal might have carried bodies all the way to India, there are reports of over six hundred victims and almost three thousand missing, some of various nationalities. Lines of pilgrims returning from Mount Kailash are among the missing, along with many tourists heading to the Himalayan peaks and climbers with their guides, apparently a large number of Indian tourists are unaccounted for. To report on a different note but still related to natural events the wave of bad weather in Italy with hailstorms and large hailstones in the North, damaging historical heritage in places like Cremona city in Lombaerdy region (lashed by a whirlwind with dozens of injured), while in the South temperatures remain very high and in Sardinia some areas are approaching forty-five degrees Celsius.

Another flood feared in Nepal

After the disastrous flood described figuratively as a "tsunami" in the valley in Nepal's Rasuwa district there are fears that another flood could occur since the fractured ice mass that fell from a high altitude in the Himalayan range dragging rocks, debris and other material with it could form a kind of dam on the Bhote Koshi river leading to another flood when it gives way under the water pressure. Chinese rescue efforts are reportedly suspended as a precaution, while the death toll has risen to over five hundred with over two thousand missing. To report on a different note but still on natural topics unusually high temperatures have been recorded in Tunisia (forty-six degrees Celsius in Tunis) and several wildfires in Algeria driven by drought and high temperatures causing dozens of fatalities.

A glacier collapses between Nepal and Tibet

There could be over three hundred victims and around a thousand missing due to the collapse of a glacier tongue that stretches between Nepal and Tibet. They are talking about an earthquake of over magnitude four caused by the fall of the ice mass from high up down hundreds of meters, resulting in a violent debris-filled muddy flood in a Himalayan valley in the Rasuwa district of Nepal, the flood swept away village houses, bridges, tourist buses and people in the area. As usual global warming made the glacier unstable melting and cracking the ice tongues although experts are still studying the dynamics of the detachment and collapse of the various broken ice masses and how they caused the subsequent disastrous flood of the Bhote Koshi river.

A tornado causes damage in southwestern France

The Aude region in southwestern France was hit by a strong vortex, with reports of forty-one injured (two in critical condition) and about three hundred houses damaged in the village of Pomas causing panic among the population. Over fourteen hundred homes were left without electricity, and a well-known cycling race was canceled; in the nearby village of Arquettes-en-Val winds reached almost one hundred and twenty kilometers per hour. To report shifting attention to Italy a tornado caused damage in an area in the province of Varese in Lombardy region with roofs torn off, trees uprooted, warehouses and fields damaged; while in the province of Grosseto in Tuscany region strong gusts of wind knocked down several trees on the main road obstructing traffic.

Huge wildfire between Nevada and California in the U.S.

A fire covering over sixty square kilometers is consuming vegetation near Peavine Peak in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada close to the California border, causing at least six injuries, burning houses and forcing ninety thousand people to evacuate; it is reported that the fire was caused by human activity but there is no information on whether it was intentional or accidental. Forty-two thousand people have been urgently evacuated due to flames approaching the University of Nevada and then tens of thousands more need to be ready to evacuate. To report shifting the focus to Italy high temperatures have been reported in areas of Puglia and Sicily, with peaks above forty degrees Celsius and in the coming days especially in Sicily the African heatwave could intensify.

Collapse at a landfill in Guinea due to heavy rains

There are said to be thirty victims, six injured and several houses destroyed because of the collapse of a kind of "mountain" of waste at a large landfill in Conakry, the capital of the country; there were talks of evacuation warnings that the authorities had given to people living near the large open-air landfill, but many had stayed in the area. Guinea has the largest bauxite reserves and the country is also rich in iron, gold, diamonds and other minerals, but despite this well over half of the population lives in poverty. To report on a different note but still staying on natural events at least thirty-seven people (mostly lightly) injured by a 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Japan with its epicenter in the southern part of Ibaraki Prefecture; the tremors were clearly felt even in Tokyo.

Overheating of the seas fueled by global currents

Sea temperatures could reach record values (in over a century) compared to the average driven by "El Nino" particularly in the tropical Pacific exceeding three degrees Celsius, resulting in severe droughts in South America and the Western Pacific and therefore having tangible effects on global food security. When temperatures in the eastern tropical Pacific rise by half a degree it is generally seen as the start of this global current which influences winds, atmospheric pressure and rainfall. To report switching topics but still on natural themes the clashes in Europe between cold Arctic currents and much warmer ones from Africa causing extreme events, then widespread fires in the Balkans and Hungary due to drought and high temperatures.

Bad weather in Germany and Italy

A wave of bad weather with storms and tornadoes has hit large areas of Germany, with reports of one death and one injury in Waldorf in the southwest Rhineland-Palatinate region, followed by damage to roofs being blown off and damaged cars. Other similar cases were reported in the Westerwald district, Hesse, Thuringia, and Bavaria where a village hosting a festival was partially evacuated, while the country as a whole is still dealing with the disruptions caused by the summer heatwaves with fourteen thousand victims reportedly due to related causes according to authorities. As for Italy there have been floods in Liguria due to heavy downpours and a bridge collapsed in Lombardy (then also landslides with hundreds of people evacuated), the intense rainfall is unlikely to make up for the damage caused by the drought due to the scarcity of reserve water basins.

Experimental innovative treatment for skin tumors

From tests carried out in advanced phases on an innovative treatment for melanomas based on the therapeutic principles behind immunotherapy and mRNA vaccine technology, there appear to be positive benefits although the final phases of testing will be needed to confirm the results. Basically one therapy helps the immune system get ready while the other stimulates the response to the tumor. It's important to keep in mind that with melanoma prevention matters; in fact, sunburns especially when young shouldn’t be underestimated since the skin retains long-term memory of these insults, so it’s wise to avoid irritating the skin even with simple redness which can prematurely age the tissue and make it more sensitive to sunburns.

High risk for the marine ecosystem and coastal communities

The average temperatures of the Mediterranean Sea reached a record value of twenty-seven degrees Celsius in July and the sea waters near Mallorca hit thirty-three degrees in the first days of August, these are alarming data for the marine ecosystem and coastal communities with tangible consequences; for example a warmer sea increases humidity and nighttime temperatures in coastal areas are higher besides fueling potential future storms during the year. A higher average temperature means that high-pressure systems responsible for heatwaves can reach higher temperatures, then the warm sea can cause suffering up to the disappearance of marine species, as happens with corals, and it impoverishes the food chain for birds and mammals.

Floods in South Korea and difficulties in Flores

Heavy torrential rainfall with flash floods have hit Gyeongsang province, with the city of Geoje in the south of the country particularly affected; reports mention one victim and hundreds of people evacuated in addition to disruptions, impassable roads and chaos in traffic in the areas most affected by bad weather. As for the island of Flores in Indonesia aftershocks continue some quite strong and authorities are struggling to manage the emergency for displaced people, who in some cases complain about the lack of food and essential goods; meanwhile the death toll has risen to sixty-eight, with over two hundred injured and thousands left homeless; many tourists are stranded, them is often difficult to move around among rubble, debris and collapsed buildings on parked cars.

Heat and dryness are fueling wildfires in Europe

In Greece on the island of Salamina west of Athens a fire with high flames caused two deaths and forced over three hundred and sixty people to evacuate, then in Spain there’s talk of one victim in Aragon in the northeast of the country, while there are numerous fires across Europe generally fueled by high temperatures and dry vegetation, as is happening in Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, and the Balkans; this is unprecedented devastation considering that spontaneous combustion is almost impossible (almost always it’s human hands that ignite the first flames). To report changing the topic but staying on nature-related issues that a hurricane hit Hawaii particularly Honolulu and Maui counties causing damage to at least a hundred homes, then more than two hundred thousand households were left without electric power.

Earthquake off the coast of Flores Island in Indonesia

There are reportedly at least forty victims in East Nusa Tenggara due to a 7.7 magnitude earthquake with a depth of about fifteen kilometers followed by dozens of aftershocks in eastern Indonesia, causing panic among the population; many damaged buildings are reported and about two thousand people evacuated in Nagekeo, with more evacuated to higher ground due to a potential tsunami (alert later lifted). The first quake was clearly felt also in West Nusa Tenggara and South Sulawesi about one hundred and thirty kilometers from the epicenter. To report on a different natural topic in Germany due to the low level of the Rhine river river navigation is about to be completely blocked, then in Italy volcanic activity on mount Etna in Sicily is very intense more than has been recorded in years.

Pirates in jacket and necktie

By now the traditional image of the pirates organizes in groups from corsairs armed of guns and knives to the cingula have yielded the step to the new predator dressed in jacket and necktie that is annoying the web (bandits that unload entire site and they identify the protection keys, steal the symbols, musics..), even with one name of all security that hides the deceit to before the tacking of click. As an example writing "salutary.eu" on a famous search engine between the entrance connections to the site www.salutistico.it, others do not authorize links appear between which also one to those in order to unload freewares, but that practically they turn out to payment through Dialer. Attention to the pirates, exploratory of the web Internet, sails in sure waters; in fact the Demo of the program "Well-being Body - Mind - Soul" deposited that it enjoys all the copyrights can unload free from my salutary.eu Internet site or salutary.eu compiling the appropriate card of recording (and subsequently with relative password communicated) and I dissociate myself from the use of my software to payment for whichever site different from the mine. To notice unfortunately that also writing "salutistico.it" for the original site, are visualized links truculent or trap. - Lately is disappeared the intere site from some search engines.. (that evidently could use the same criteria of selection).
