Renewable sources in Europe outweigh fossil fuels

The data provided on energy from renewable sources, such as the sun and wind, in Europe in 2020 would have reached thirty-eight percent compared to thirty-seven obtained from fossil sources, such as gas and coal. Denmark seems to be at the top of this ranking among European countries with sixty-one percent of its electricity from renewable sources, but there are countries like Slovakia and the Czech Republic with less than five percent. The generation of electricity from coal fell well before the 19-nCoV pandemic caused a decrease in consumption and this trend should remain thanks to the large number of new plants that exploit the installed renewable energy, then we must consider the fall in the prices of these plants that make them decidedly cheaper with positive environmental repercussions since the costs to deal with climate change are one of the main items in the budgets of the states.
