Increasingly powerful data centers under construction

In many areas of the world data centers are under construction to support generative artificial intelligence applications of much higher power or scale than that of the normal data centers used until now, they are very large structures, full of cables and connections that require large amounts of energy and water to cool the boards on which the chips that support powerful neural networks are mounted; therefore complaints about noise and the impact on the territory are not lacking, then these soil-consuming structures also cause heat islands that influence the climate at a distance due to the heat released by the computers' heat exchangers. Some complain that areas where energy is cheaper and can be generated from renewable sources are often becoming the least suitable for locating these large data centers.
