Violence and abuses around the world

In Sri Lanka there are at least fifteen thousand victims with the complaint of the use of white phosphorus on the population and indiscriminate executions, including of children, it seems that have not been observed areas where it should be forbidden to shoot and also a hospital had been bombed, meanwhile, is been proclaimed a week of celebrations for the end of the fighting, but in internment camps in which many innocent people have been confined the living conditions are very difficult and it seems should pay for access to the water. By shifting the attention to other scenes of violence, to report that the plan to transfer 240 inmates in the prison at Guantanamo has not been approved, also pointed out the systematic abuse of "religious" to the detriment of children in Ireland.. (cases tried in the past in Italy against deaf people) with various manoeuvres to maintain the secrecy on facts truly reprehensible.

Migrants or refugees

History suggests that the planet has been subject to many waves of migration of various kinds and the first people who colonized the globe were probably of African origin, but often forgotten that "we are all immigrants" and no population is truly native, without to consider commercial projects or expansions of some nations which have occupied far away lands and driving away individuals well adapted to the environment or subjected to viruses and diseases that their immune system was unable to cope. Many migrants are forced to leave their country even as a result of climate change on the planet (caused by industrialized countries), then with respect to refugees persecuted for ideological reasons we should not forget that with the men traveling also the tought that has influenced the way with we think in the millennia, a little flashy wealth but of fundamental importance.

Reading of the mind and torture

The news of the use of torture to extort information with the "technique of the waterboarding" or simulated drowning, apart from shocking ethical considerations in terms of human rights violations, raises the question of what can be responsive to the true information extorted by a human creature tortured, from the moment that for escape to the pain and humiliation is possible to say anything thing; and, now there are (unfortunately) technological systems to easily read the mind and the memories stored in any individual neurons. The systematic violation of the right of privacy for "tactical" reasons, it could also mean the theft of important information from any individual connected in the networked world, without regard that to three hundred years elapses between the first copyright law promulgated in England (in 1709) is now clear that for example no right to creativity is protected, and this is a crime against the humanity.

Reinforced concrete or sand

Grinding selected clay of limestone type and then mixing with water, sand and gravel in carefully calculated proportions, is possible to obtain a light gray dough that has features of hydraulic binder is particularly suitable for construction, especially if in the concrete is incorporates a frame of steel which has coefficients of thermal expansion almost equal to those of cement and gives both strength and elasticity to the structure, but if has been used too much sand [.. plundering beaches and seafloor] to save money, loses these characteristics and the conglomerate could crack or to last very less. If the houses sold as built with anti-seismic criteria have been literally razed to the ground, in theory the manufacturers should pay the damage for people who lost their lives, including residues housing loans.. and then see the logo "like salutary" over the tends in Abruzzo region in Italy shaking the heart (many have felt the earth shake in the life).

Individual and global violence

A case of violence dramatically amplified by the television media in Italy with culprits immediately shown to the public without there was the necessary response of the scientific data collected, it was concluded successfully through the traced left by the mobile phone, but this story is thinking about that those who use violence on a single person, use violence on the "whole world"; in fact the science has shown that all individuals have virtually the same origin and the genes is similar in all populations, just the change of a single gene to determine negligible aesthetic differences or for example also of the metabolism. Sometimes trying not to disclose the news on the violence could be useful to avoid imitation of the various cases, but does not benefit from a global point of view that a case does not discovered remain unpunished since paid a just penalty for the abuse is salutary and all things right.

Few aid to poor countries for the environment

The appropriations expected to help poor countries to cope with climate change seems to have been distributed in a reality in less than 10% of the sum that had been previously announced, despite the rich countries have generally accepted their responsibility for having caused the global warming, moreover the few aid not reach the people most adversely affected by unexpected weather. Some have estimated a fairly high cost to try to remedy to climate change even in areas relatively rich and developed, a cost-increasing budget already affected by economic crisis, regardless of the type with an overall damage at the equilibrium of the planet from the moment that for example as the funds for protecting forests in the Congo basin or Bangladesh seems to have not yet been granted.

Wheezing economy and meditation

Day traditionally dedicated to the prayer for the sick persons in a period that sees the global economy in trouble with the loss of tens of thousands of jobs (and the individuals directly affected may also experience psychosomatic illness, or various physical disorders), without consider migrants in search of better prospects in life situations found instead further hardship and suffering. There are also cases of torture reported by international organizations such for example in the damage to Palestinians that seek dialogue with the Israelis against the will of soldiers and politicians, then the senseless violence in Sri Lanka against civilians in a long civil war for the independence of certain territories, while migrants from Myanmar tortured from a regimen deaf to any kind humanitarian appeal. It only remains that prayer-meditation as a remedy for all the situations of suffering in the world.

Epidemics of cholera to prevent

In poor Zimbabwe from about six months there is an epidemic of cholera broke out rather seriously that has already caused 2971 victims, infecting 56123 in a situation of extreme poverty and lack of hygiene that could cause, according to international organizations, even without adequate measures sixty thousand victims since in practice about half the population (12 million) would be at risk of infection caused the bacterium Vibrio cholerae. To try to prevent the cholera in addition to boil and filter the drink water, should especially do attention to how the sewerage materials are disposed, and also the food could be contaminated.. there is a vaccination that lasts only six months, and for the relatives of a patient for the prevention normally is used the tetracycline, but in a country plagued by galloping economic inflation purchase of the medicines is really difficult.

Inhuman unchecked violence

While arrive the confirmation on the use of torture in the prison at Guantanamo used in violation of the most basic ethical norms, is discussing the illegal use of phosphorous arms in areas inhabited by civilians in the painful war that divided for decades the Israelis from the Palestinians, now struggling to find a safe place to shelter from the bombing, as even the UN headquarters for refugees was hit and the fire that has developed seems to be switched off only with the sand as the use of water on phosphorus burns would be useless. The high number of victims in recent attacks.. and injured, as even only lose an eye for a sliver by the bombing can cause a profound emotion in some case most serious of the wounds visible externally, moreover the international organizations for Human Rights denounced the violence against civilians in Gaza deprived of water, food and assistance.

Innocent victims of the war

Many innocuous civilians including children certainly innocent have lost their lives due to the war which is again stain with blood the Gaza Strip in a spiral of violence that lasted for decades, constantly fed by new reprehensible episodes (seeing the bombings directed against Nations United schools house of refugees and against the rescue ambulances transporting many wounded), with a "critical" humanitarian situation from the moment that the population is almost trapped without hope of being able to save. It seems that the Israelis want to continue with their plan of attack against Hamas despite the numerous appeals to the cease-fire and steps for at least a truce.. there is not peace in the Holy Land even on the day when is celebrate the Orthodox Christmas, and cold for some countries that are struggling to get supplies of gas for heating (another kind of war).
