Japan wants to restart some reactors
The authorities in Japan argue that the country needs Atomic Energy and which is now better prepared to handle these plants, but four years away from serious accident at the Fukushima Daiichi plant although progress has been made in securing nuclear plant remain questions on the amount of losses of radioactive water at sea and of radionuclides released into the environment in the absence of a cover, then some argue that nuclear power now costs are high compared to renewable energy without considering the risks and the problem of having to store the waste in safe locations. The incident at the Fukushima plant was not only both a natural and technological disaster, but also social and policy as well which resulted in a change of mentality about how the authorities can require citizens to risk on safety and on their future.
